THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE: I worked my way up the corporate ladder. I dedicated my life to my job (and made a lot of money for them!), but when my health started to suffer, they got rid of me.
Just like that ... my income was gone, company car gone, career gone ... and I wasn't well enough to do anything else.
So I had to find a business that worked and worked fast.
Something flexible and part-time so I could work when I could. And something with all the training, systems and support so I didn't have to work it all out myself.
I needed something simple because my brain and body could not handle much.
And I really wanted to be doing something that helps people and genuinely makes a difference in their life.
ONLINE BUSINESSES THAT DIDN'T WORK: I came across MLM when I was 18 years old and thought it was the answer to all of my dreams.
Unfortunately, it didn't go so well.
I followed the system exactly for 10 years and my personal growth was astounding, however I was making no money and still had to rely on a job. I was so close to giving up on my dream of being my own boss and living life how I wanted to.
I was still looking for a way out of the 9-5 grind, so I then did affiliate marketing. I managed to cover my initial investment, but I didn't make any money after that. I was desperate to find a business model that actually worked and would get me the 6 figures part-time I'd been dreaming of.
THE THINKING THAT LED ME TO SUCCESS: I found personal development when I was 18 years old and it has completely changed my life.
Reading books like Think & Grow Rich, Rich Dad Poor Dad and countless others meant I saw life in a completely new way and my belief in myself skyrocketed. I saw I had value and consequently my job income went from 20k to 140k within 10 years.
I was 'successful', but I didn't like my career and I really wanted to work for myself.
As my income increased my work hours and stress levels increased. I was completely overloaded and had no time, energy, freedom or fun in my life.
I felt I wasn't contributing to anyones life. I was just moving money around for big corporations. I felt empty and stuck.
So I went looking for a way out. For something new, and for a business model that is wholesome and actually works.
I looked at a lot of businesses and eventually found this opportunity. When they said it's in the personal development industry I thought "Wow, I'd love to get paid doing something I love" and then I saw this business model that's unlike any other, and I knew it was the game changer and how I could really help people break free of the grind and have a life.
